Presented is an 8 ¾ x 11 ½ - inch team signed color photograph of the 1950 National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Signed in blue ballpoint pen, many of the 26 signatures are written on top of their respective player pictures, with others written in the white margin surrounding the team photo. The words “Fightin’ Phillies” are inscribed in red text at the top, along with the year “1950” in blue text. Among the most prominent of the signatures are those of Hall of Famers Richie Ashburn and Robin Roberts. Ashburn, a six-time All-Star center fielder and two-time Batting Champion, and Robin Roberts, a seven-time all-star pitcher, helped lead the Philadelphia Phillies to their first National League Pennant in 35 years. Other notable signatures include Del Ennis, Jim Konstanty, Andy Seminick, Curt Simmons, Dick Sisler, Bubba Church, Granny Hamner, Bob Miller, and Eddie Waitkus.
