Wayne Gretzky has signed this white Canadian Olympic Hockey Team jersey. Gretzky, the greatest scorer in NHL history, won numerous honors internationally with Canada, including three Canada Cup gold medals and a silver medal at the inaugural World Cup of Hockey in 1996. Gretzky’s influence still looms large over the NHL today with his iconic number “99” retired league-wide. The Team Canada jersey offered in this lot is white, with a Team Canada logo patch incorporating a black and red maple leaf is sewn on the chest. “GRETZKY” is sewn across the back shoulders in black tackle twill over a matching white nameplate, while his number “99” is also sewn on the back and shoulders in red and black tackle twill.
