Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky has signed this World Hockey Association white jersey. Gretzky played the first eight games of his professional career with the Indianapolis Racers of the WHA, before a trade sent “The Great One” to his familiar Edmonton Oilers, also in the WHA at the time. Gretzky scored 43 goals and notched 61 assists with Edmonton, finishing his lone WHA season with 46 goals and 110 points, winning the Lou Kaplan Trophy as the WHA Rookie of the Year. Gretzky played his remaining career in the NHL, recording an incredible 2,857 points and earning immediate induction to the International Ice Hockey Hall of Fame following his retirement in 1999.

This offered WHA jersey features a circular “WHA 79” logo sewn on the chest. Gretzky’s iconic number “99” is sewn on the back and sleeves in red tackle twill, while “GRETZKY” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue tackle twill. “WHA 79” logos are printed on each shoulder. Gretzky has signed the first “9” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker. The jersey is a limited edition 25 of 150 and comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
