A Single signed Lou Gehrig baseball is far rarer to find then one of his teammate Babe Ruth. Gehrig famously had to retire at the start of the 1939 season and sadly passed on June 2,1941 to ALS now known as "Lou Gehrig's disease". We offer a nearly white perfect condition official American League (Harridge) baseball signed by the Iron Horse. The baseball is signed lightly but clearly legibly "To Frank: Best Wishes, Lou Gehrig." JSA has issued a notartized full letter of authenticity for the baseball and the inscription. It is noted there is some toning on one side of the baseball, however per JSA's inspection "No signature removal is evident". A rare single signed baseball from one of the most in demand autographs in history
