Tom Brady’s lengthy and successful NFL career began with the New England Patriots in 2000, with the former Michigan Wolverine backing up Drew Bledsoe for Bill Belichick’s Patriots. Brady appeared in one game in 2000 before wresting the starting job from Bledsoe in 2001. A six-time Super Bowl champion, Brady is one of the consensus best quarterbacks in NFL history as judged by any metric. Offered in this lot is a game issued New England Patriots home jersey from Brady’s rookie season of 2000. The jersey features Brady’s iconic number “12” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white, red, and gray tackle twill. “BRADY” is sewn on the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching navy nameplate. An Adidas tag with attached size “46” and “00” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the historic jersey. This jersey comes with a Patriots Team Shop COA.
