Pittsburgh Steelers owner and Allegheny County titan Art Rooney has signed this Wilson NFL football. Rooney, born in 1901, was the President of the Steelers from their 1933 founding through 1974. Rooney led the Steelers to four Super Bowl titles and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Rooney has signed this Pete Rozelle football in black marker, adding two lengthy inscriptions that read “To My Good Friend / Jim Knox / Happy Healthy 65th Birthday” and “Pittsburgh Steelers Football Club Super Bowl Champions IX-X-XIII-XIV”. This historic football comes with a LOA from JSA.
