17-year MLB veteran Jeff Conine wore this gray Baltimore Orioles road jersey in 1999, his first year with the former St. Louis Browns. Conine hit for a healthy .291 batting average, adding 13 homers, 75 RBI, and 31 doubles for Ray Miller’s Orioles. Conine played great defense for the Orioles at first base, committing only six errors in 889 fielding chances. This offered Orioles road jersey features “Orioles” sewn across the chest in orange, black, and white tackle twill. Conine’s number “18” is sewn on the chest and back in orange and black tackle twill, while “CONINE” is sewn across the back shoulders in orange and black tackle twill. An Orioles logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, while a black number “7” patch for the late Cal Ripken Sr. is sewn on the right sleeve above a black Russell Athletic logo. A Russell Athletic size “48” tag and a “1999” tag are sewn on the front left tail. Conine has signed the “8” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. The jersey comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication Services for Conine’s signature and a LOA from noted game used baseball jersey expert William Henderson for the game use.
