Jorge Posada provided one of the consistent parts of five New York Yankees World Series titles, being his usual self by playing solid defense, hitting for power and getting on base. Based upon known factory ordering records, the labeling period and player use characteristics, this bat was used by Posada during the 2004 season. This 34.5 inch, 33.8 ounce Louisville Slugger P320 signature model bat shows evidence of outstanding use with a barrel covered in ball and stitch marks, including blue ink transfers. There is a heavy coating of pine tar near the label, with a lighter coating in the professionally repaired slightly cracked handle. This handle has a crisscross 6 inch tape pattern, and all factory markings are deep and bold. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number E36306, graded PSA GU 8.5. This is a great gamer from Jorge Posada, a Yankee legend and a player with an outside shot at the Hall of Fame.
