Kansas City Royals star Lorenzo Cain wore this white Royals home jersey on August 8th, 2015 against the Chicago White Sox at Kauffman Stadium. Cain finished the game 1-3, hitting an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth inning off White Sox starter Jeff Samardzija. Later in the inning, Cain stole third base and scored on Kendrys Morales’ RBI double. The Royals won the day 7-6, with Jeremy Guthrie earning his eighth win of the 2015 season. Cain had a breakout season in 2015, hitting .307 with 16 homers, 72 RBI, and 28 stolen bases as Kansas City won their first World Series title since 1985 with a five-game victory over the New York Mets.
This offered Royals home jersey is white, with “ROYALS” sewn across the chest in blue tackle twill. Cain’s number “6” is sewn on the chest and back in blue tackle twill, while “CAIN” is sewn across the back shoulders in the same fashion. A Royals logo and a Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve. A large dirt stain is present on the chest of this jersey. A MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar, while a Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail. The jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB017404).
