Brooklyn Dodgers legend Jackie Robinson has signed this 3 x 5-inch index card. The first African American man to appear in Major League Baseball, Robinson’s 10-season career brought baseball into the modern era. Robinson won the inaugural MLB Rookie of the Year Award and was named the National League Most Valuable Player in 1949 after winning his first NL batting title. A World Series champion in 1955, Robinson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. Robinson has signed this index card in blue pen, inscribing “Best Wishes” above his iconic signature. This card has been encapsulated and authenticated by SGC with an additional STICKER ONLY from JSA (B72074) that is on the card and is part of the SGC encapsulation.
