Offered in this lot is a fight worn and signed James “Bonecrusher” Smith Everlast Boxing robe. A former WBA heavyweight champion, Smith compiled an excellent 44-17 record with 32 knockouts in his boxing career. “Bonecrusher” won the belt with a first-round knockout of Tim Witherspoon at Madison Square Garden in 1986, avenging an earlier decision loss to Witherspoon in emphatic fashion. The robe offered in this lot is red, with a white Everlast tag sewn on the left chest. The robe is trimmed with white. Sewn on the back in white lettering is “Bonecrusher James Smith”. Smith has signed the robe in black marker as “James Bonecrusher Smith”, inscribing “Fight Worn” above his signature. The robe is in good condition. It comes with a COA from JSA.
