From the Gene “Stick” Michael collection comes four vintage and commemorative bats. First, there is a circa 1940 Joe DiMaggio JC Higgins store model bat with “Genuine DiMaggio Model No. 1744” on the barrel of the bat. The 35” bat has R.B engraved on the knob of the bat. Next, is a 2007 Jason Giambi commemorative bat that was given out on “Bat Day” at Yankee Stadium on June 10, 2007. This 31” bat has “Pro Louisville Slugger” “Bank of America” and the Yankees logo stamped on the barrel as well as a facsimile Giambi signature on the barrel. Third, is a Louisville Slugger S216 model Yankees bat. The bat is 33” and has “125 Louisville Slugger” engraved on the barrel as well as “Genuine S216 Yankees” with “STRICK 15” written in black marker on the knob. The final item of the lot is a vintage Louisville Slugger bat that is 35” and shows a very faded “125 Louisville Slugger” “Genuine” stamped on the barrel.
