Chase Utley's batting heroics helped the Philadelphia Phillies win the 2008 World Series. Utley used this bat during that title year, as available factory ordering records and labeling characteristics indicate this bat was produced and used by Utley in 2008. This un-cracked 33-3/8 inch, 31.9 ounce CU1 block-letter model bat has "CHASE UTLEY" engraved on the barrel, the "CU1" model number above and team "PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES" below. This bat exhibits evidence of heavy game use with many prominent ball marks and stitch impressions, including blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Multiple cleat marks, bat rack streaks and weighted bat impressions are also evident, as is a significant quantity of MOTA stick on the handle. Utley's number "26" is on the knob in black marker and the cup has his number "26" plus the length (33.5) and weight (31.5) written in silver marker. The sweet spot includes a bold, silver Sharpie "Chase Utley 26" signature. This is a tremendous game used bat form Chase Utley, during the season which he helped the Phillies win their 2008 World Series title. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number H53391, Graded PSA GU 10. A Major League Alumni Marketing LOA is included for the signature.
