Presented is a lot of Jerry Sloan’s personal collection of flats, pictures and programs as well as other documents and ephemera from collegiate basketball career at the University of Evansville, his 11-year NBA playing career with the Chicago Bulls and his 30-year NBA coaching career, including 23 seasons with the Utah Jazz as head coach. This lot includes a binder filled with newspaper clippings, program books and other items from Sloan’s career in loose compendium, along with a binder with 1983 Major League Baseball game programs and yearbooks including the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers, and a Sloan-inscribed hardcover copy of Michael C. Lewis’s book on Sloan and the Utah Jazz, “To the Brink Stockton, Malone, and the Utah Jazz’s Climb to the Edge of Glory.” This lot also includes numerous University of Evansville and Chicago Bulls game programs, single issues of basketball-focused magazines, and a Bjorn Borg signed in black marker front cover of the May 9, 1991 issue of Sports Illustrated with the tennis legend’s photo with the headline “The Curious Case of Bjorn Borg”. This lot also includes college and professional basketball game programs, historic Olympic magazines, and vintage college football and basketball game programs, and folders of black & white publicity photos of Sloan and various Utah Jazz players. There are numerous Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz items in this lot include Jazz game reports and publicity folders, programs and loose photos. The lot also includes folders of correspondence, a “Jerry Sloan Chicago Bulls” engraved folder, NBA Slam Dunk Contest Judging Cards, binders of newspaper clippings and box scores, and a hardcover copy of Joe Theisman’s 1987 autobiography signed in black marker by the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback. This collection also features a presentation box for “And Now Your Chicago Bulls! A Thirty Year Celebration” in a 3¼ x 9¼ x 17-inch red carboard box with a gold seal featuring the team’s 30-year anniversary logo on the lid. Inside the box is a hardcover copy of the book embossed in gold with a wood book holder in a red lined cardboard base.  This lot comes with a LOA from the Sloan family.
