Presented is an NBA superstar Michael Jordan and Nike founder Phil Knight dual signed, framed collage celebrating the often intersecting careers of these two sports legends. The top left of the display has a color 8 x 10-inch photograph of the young Chicago Bulls star in a playground wearing a gray t-shirt under a white “Bulls” tank top with red, white and black Nike basketball shoes draped over his left shoulder. In the upper right is a Michael Jordan signature in black marker on a 3½ x 4½ blue and white paper cut. In the left center of the collage is a white Nike “Swoosh” logo from left to right against a 2 x 5-inch black background. At the center right is a 2 x 5¼-inch black metal plaque engraved in gold with the caption “Mr. Knight Meet Mr. Jordan MJ turned Nike from scrappy underdog who sold track shoes into one of the largest, most valuable consumer brands in the world. 1984: Initial deal – 5 years 500,000/yr. Nike projected to sell $3 million in 1st 4 years; sold $126 million in yr. 1 M.J. Earnings: $130 million in 2019 $1.3 Billion since 1984”. At the bottom left is a 7½ x 7½ -inch black & white photo of Phil Knight holding a pair of Nike running shoes in his right hand with a paisley shirt in a paneled office. At the bottom right is a Phil Knight signature in black pen on a 5 x 5½-inch white cut from a typewritten letter fragment. The two photos, two signed cuts, logo and plaque are mounted in a black matte with red and white accents and displayed in a 23 x 28-inch black plastic with glass frame.
