Presented is a 1937 Bronko Nagurski and Anton Stecher dual-signed professional wrestling contract. The Pro Football Hall of Famer signed his name in blue fountain pen on the one-page typewritten agreement, while Stecher, his agent and pro wrestling promoter, signed his name in blue fountain pen above Nagurski. The one-page 8½ x 13-inch white onionskin paper agreement, with a 9 x 13¾-inch yellow paper cover, is folded in fourths. The agreement dissolves a previous contract between the two, and establishes that a separate contract, signed earlier on that day, supplants the previous contract. The agreement is dated June 29, 1937. The paper cover is printed with the letterhead of Samuel G. Smilow, Attorney and Counselor, Minneapolis, Minnesota and is typed with the caption “Agreement between Anton C. Stecher and Bronko Nagurski”. This item comes with a LOA from the Nagurski family.
