Offered is a lot of two original pencil and charcoal drawings of Pro Football Hall of Fame Chicago Bears legend Bronko Nagurski, from his personal collection. The first item in this lot is an inscribed, original drawing of Nagurski carrying a football in his left arm running forward without a helmet wearing a number “3” jersey. The black graphite pencil and charcoal illustration on 10 x 14-inch white drawing paper is inscribed in black fountain pen “To Bronko Nagurski with Best of Luck + Good Wishes from Marshall Merrill” in the lower right. The second item in this lot is a gray graphite pencil illustration of Nagurski as bare-chested wrestler on 11 x 15-inch white drawing paper with the caption “Bronko Nagurski” hand drawn in the lower left and inscribed by the artist in the lower right “Al Papas”. This lot comes with a LOA from the Nagurski Family.
