“Larry Legend” earned his nickname quite easily while leading the Boston Celtics to three NBA titles on his way to a Hall of Fame career that included three NBA MVP awards.
This green 1990-91 Boston Celtics game used Larry Bird home jersey features “CELTICS” across the chest, “BIRD” across the back and his number “33” on both sides all in white tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a stitched “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with size “46.” Two white strip tags appear alongside the manufacturer’s tag, one reading “90” and the other “3”LB,” indicating the jersey’s year and size modifications. The left chest of the jersey features an official stitched NBA logo patch. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with an LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert and COA from Kim Stigall.
