After beginning their initial foray into the production of trading cards for current ballplayers, Fleer was hit with a lawsuit from Topps, and eventually forced to disband their project. The result was a succinct group of 66 cards known as the 1963 Fleer "set." Also, due to his long running Topps boycott, even though he had been in the majors since 1959, this is Maury Wills first ever baseball card. This collection of six cards includes some of the biggest names in the set, with two cards SGC graded. Includes: #5 Willie Mays (EX/MT), 42 Sandy Koufax (NM/MT), 43 Maury Wills (SGC 84 NM), 45 Spahn (SGC 50 VG/EX), 46 Adcock SP (NM) and 56 Clemente (NM).
