Graded FR 1.5 by PSA, one of just nineteen copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. Hall of Famer. The American Caramel Company was responsible for several baseball card sets, including the extremely scarce E106 issue of 1915. The offered entry from that production features the great Honus Wagner in a dynamic throwing pose. The cards in this release are characterized by glossy surfaces that are very susceptible to cracking and creasing. The offered piece, however, exhibits an enviably intact presentation. The well-centered example displays moderate wear at two corners and (an extremely favorable attribute in this issue) Wagner's image projects clear focus. The card's back reveals a product stain at one edge, along with an area of abrasion (not affecting legibility of print) at center. An exceptional example of this sought-after relic, in technically assessed Fair condition.
