David Freese has had quite a bit of tremendous post season success, hitting a game typing triple, and game winning home run in Game 6 of the 2011 World Series. During the 2012 NLCS against the San Francisco Giants lefty Barry Zito, Freese used this Rafael Furcal model bat to hit a double in the 5th inning of Game Five. It is common for hitters to use teammates bats, most notably being Bucky Dent, who used Mickey Rivers' bat to his 1978 one-game playoff home run over Boston's Green Monster. This Easton 35-inch, 32.8-ounce "RF15" block letter model bat has "RAFAEL FURCAL" engraved in the barrel with the model number. The knob has the date of manufacture "12/17/2012" on the knob with Furcal's number "15" in black marker, with a custom 9-inch area of handle tape. There is a abundance of game use, with ball and stitch marks, rack marks and the largest crack in baseball bat history, extending a good 18 inches from mid handle through the barrel. It is held together by a bit of white athletic tape. This bat is verified by MLB Authentication process, cert number EK 249856, with their hologram sticker above the barrel label and has been photomatched to this exact at-bat
