In the winter of 1980, the country was enamored by the USA Hockey Team’s magical gold-medal run in the Lake Placid Olympics that included a 4-3 upset over the powerful Soviet Union. The team inspired a country locked into the Cold War with the Russians. This 16x20 photograph shows the USA Hockey Team huddled together in “USA” sweat suits holding up fingers to signify “No. 1.” It is signed in silver Sharpie by every member of the team. Includes: Mike Eruzione, Bill Baker, Steve Christoff, John Harrington, Buzz Schneider, Steve Janaszak, Mike Ramsey, Jack O’Callahan, Mark Wells, Neal Broten, Dave Silk, Jim Craig, Dave Christian, Mark Pavelich, Eric Strobel, Bob Stuer, Rob McClanahan, Ken Morrow, Mark Johnson and Phil Verchota. Framed to a dimension of 21.25 x 25 inches. This item comes with a PSA/DNA full letter #T05926.
