Designed by Nike in 1984 for then rookie phenom and 1985 Rookie of the Year Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan line of sneakers have become a must-have for sneaker collectors for generations. Hall of Famer Jordan collected 10 scoring titles, six NBA Finals championships, five NBA MVP honors, and six Finals MVP awards during a career defined by his sneakers as much as it was defined by his accomplishments on the court.

Presented here are a pair of Nike Air Jordan XIV size 13 sneakers signed by the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan. The Air Jordan XIV sneakers were designed by Mark Smith and noted sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield. Hatfield designed many of the sneakers in the Air Jordan line, including the Air Jordan I’s that launched a thousand sneaker collections. Hatfield was inspired by the Ferrari 550 M, the same Ferrari owned by Jordan, and incorporated elements of the car into the design of the sneaker and featured the Nike “JUMPMAN” logo on a Ferrari-shaped badge that occurs on the lateral side of each sneaker. The colorway of the sneakers is black with red accents.  There are a total of 14 “JUMPMAN” logos, seven on each sneaker, to correspond with the sneaker being the 14th release in the Air Jordan series and are located on above the toe box, the shield log on the Achilles’ heel, above the number “23” on the heel, middle bottom sole, steel lace tips, and on the insoles. The sneakers are in excellent condition and Jordan signed the outstep of the right sneaker with a silver metallic paint pen. The sneakers come with the original gray box that features the “JUMPMAN” logo on the front and side in red. The signed Air Jordan XIV sneakers come with an COA from Upper Deck Authentication (BAF 64016).
