Paul Pierce entered the 2011 Three-Point competition in Los Angeles as the reigning champion and was pitted against Kevin Durant, Ray Allen, Daniel Gibson, James Jones and Dorrell Wright. Pierce was the last shooter in the first round and needed 11 points to advance. He entered the last set of five shots with only 8 points and had to make his last three shots (4 points) of the first round to advance. Pierce drained them, including the 2-point “Money Ball” at the buzzer to advance to the final round, along with teammate Ray Allen. Pierce opened the final round with 18 points, followed by James Jones’ 20 points and Ray Allen’s 15. Jones would win the 2011 contest followed by the aggregate scores of Ray Allen (35) and Paul Pierce (30).

Offered here is the jersey Pierce wore during the 2011 Three-Point Contest. While Pierce wore a green warmup shooting shirt, he wore this home white Boston Celtics jersey underneath. This Adidas size 2XL CLIMACOOL jersey has “CELTICS” sewn on across the front in green tackle twill. Pierce’s number “34” is sewn on the front and back in green mesh on a white tackle twill backing. The Adidas CLIMACOOL tag with a “LENGTH+4” flag and an NBA AUTHENTICS EVERY PLAYER.EVERY GAME ID tags (BCE00758) are sewn on the lower front left tail. The “FOOTLOCKER THREE-POINT CONTEST” patch is sewn on the upper right chest and the NBA logo is sewn on the upper left chest. The back of the jersey has a green shamrock and “PIERCE” sewn on in green tackle twill above his number. This jersey comes with a LOA from the MeiGray Group (BCE00758), authenticating that Pierce wore this jersey during the 2011 NBA Three-Point Contest on January 19th, 2011.
