The United States Open Championship is held annually in June by the United States Golf Association and is one of four major championships in professional golf. A part of the PGA and European Tours, the U.S. Open’s 12.5-million-dollar purse is tied for first with the Players Championship in regard to purse size. Presented here is a 19 ½ x13 ½ -inch white nylon pin flag from the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach signed by the U.S. Open winner, Tiger Woods. Wood’s 15 stroke margin of victory is an all-time record for all majors. The white nylon pin flag features three gold string holes on white fabric on the left side of the flag. “100th U.S. OPEN PEBBLE BEACH” is screen-printed in black above a screen-printed logo featuring a American flag, a golf ball, and a tree with “2000” screen-printed in black in the middle of the logo. The 15-time Majors winner Woods signed the left side of the flag with a black marker. The signature is bold and the flag features crease folds and two small brown stains on the top and right side of the flag. The 100th U.S. Open Pebble Beach pin flag signed by Tiger Woods comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication (AA09004) for the signature.
