LaMelo, the youngest of the three Ball brothers, entered the NBA with the weighty expectations associated with being a top-three draft pick. The Charlotte Hornets star immediately found his NBA footing, becoming the youngest player in league history to record a triple-double after going for 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists in a 113-105 win over the Atlanta Hawks on January 9th, 2021. An early favorite in the NBA Rookie of the Year race, Ball is rightly seen as the future cornerstone of the Hornets franchise. Ball has signed this card in blue ink. A congratulatory statement on this commemorative's back asserts Panini's warranty for the authenticity of the signature, and serves as the item's COA.
