Among a total of nearly 1,700 examples recorded in PSA's census reporting, only about fifteen percent have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. This sought-after collectible, with its first-year portrayal of a superstar, hails from the forever-popular 1961/62 Fleer release. The card's obverse reflects plenty of original surface gloss and displays a clearly resolved black-and-white image of its subject. And, the piece is nicely centered for the issue. Here is the standout rookie card of the most dominating basketball player of all time, in barely circulated Near Mint condition.
