This off-white pullover jersey was worn by McHale during the 1983/84 season. It was the second of three championship seasons for McHale. He averaged 18.4 points over 82 games and won the first of his two NBA Sixth Man Awards. The Jersey has McHale’s number “32” in Celtics green on the front and back. “CELTICS” is written on the front, arched over the number, in green tackle twill and “McHALE” is written in green tackle twill on the back. There are two tags on the front tail of the jersey. The top tag says “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the BOSTON CELTICS NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION Medalist Sand Knit” and the bottom tag has the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer’s logo. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with an LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
