Cristiano Ronaldo made his historic professional debut for Portugal’s Sporting CP in 2002-03, netting a pair of goals against Moreirense in his inaugural game to set the tone for his incredibly prolific career. “CR7” spent one season with the Lions of Lisbon, catching the eye of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson to earn a move to Manchester United in advance of the 2003-04 campaign, where his career began in earnest. Offered in this lot are six unopened packs of Panini “Mega Craques” cards from 2002-03, manufactured in Italy with targeted distribution in Portugal, as well as a bonus pack from the 2004-05 season! Ronaldo, appearing resplendent with his frosted tips and horizontally-striped Sporting kit, graces the front of the packs. Rare Ronaldo rookie cards possibly reside in the 2002-03 packs, while additional greats in the 2002-03 set include Deco, Ricardo Rocha, Ricardo Quaresma, and more. Several Portuguese players based abroad, such as Luis Figo and Abel Xavier, are also included in this seminal set. Each pack contains six trading cards and is unopened.
