2021 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Kobe Bryant won his fifth and final NBA Title in 2010. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics in seven games. The victory for the Lakers was their second consecutive, as the Lakers won the title in 2009. Bryant averaged 11.3 rebounds, 22.0 assists, 2.9 steals, and 18.7 points per game during the series and earned his second consecutive Finals MVP Award.
Presented here is an Official David J. Stern gold Spalding NBA Champion basketball signed by Bryant. The gold basketball features “SPALDING” stamped in black on the main panel with “OFFICIAL CHAMPIONS BALL” and a black and gold stamped image of the Larry O’Brien Trophy next to the facsimile signature of Commissioner David J. Stern. “THE CHAMPIONS” is stamped on a panel of the ball in black, and a “2010 NBA CHAMPIONS LOS ANGELES LAKERS” stamp in maroon features the Lakers logo with “LIMITED EDITION 100 of 2010” below. Bryant signed the panel above the black “SPALDING” stamp with a black marker. The basketball features some toning and fading of the gold paint with the paint flaking off in some spots.
