The purple mesh jersey features white and gold stripes encasing a yellow fabric strip on the lateral sides of the jersey. "LAKERS" appears across the chest in gold-on-white tackle twill. The number "24," which Kobe switched to from the number "8" in 2006, appears on the chest and back in white-on-gold tackle twill. A red, white, and blue embroidered NBA logo rests on the left shoulder of the jersey.
