Former New York Yankees centerfielder Bernie Williams had a solid 1994 season that was cut short due to the Player’s Strike that ultimately ended the season and eliminated the postseason and World Series. Williams batted .289 with 12 home runs and 57 RBI in 108 games as the Yankees had the best record in the American League before the season ended in August. Offered here is one of the bats used by Williams during the 1994 season when he ended up playing for Deportes Salvador of Puerto Rico during the Winter Ball season in 1994. This Louisville Slugger T141 model bat displays excellent game use with a crack on the handle. According to the ordering records, Williams ordered this bat in November of 1994 and the bat was shipped to Deportes Salvador. There are ball marks, cleat imprints and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. “BW” is handwritten in blue marker on the knob and Bernie signed his name in blue marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B24043) for the game use and has been given a high grade of GU 8.5, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AA09016) for the signature. Please note that the PSA/DNA sticker is affixed to the LOA and not the bat.
