Graded PR 1 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in a Brazilian Rookie Card appearance. The inimitable superstar Pele, the winner of three FIFA World Cup titles, appears on this Editoria Aquarela offering from the year of Pele’s first World Cup with the senior Brazil team. Pele was the World Cup’s best player as a 17-year old, scoring a pair of goals in Brazil’s 5-2 win over host nation Sweden in the tournament final. Pictured on this card in his yellow Brazil kit in front of a sky-blue background, this scarce rookie collectible is a thrilling representation of the greatest soccer player to ever live. Pele’s number “10” is printed on the back of this card, which displays some dark stains, in black text. Poor condition.
