Dubbed “The Dream Team,” the 1992 United States Men’s Olympic Basketball Team was the first Olympic team to feature professional players from the National Basketball Association. Considered by journalists to be the greatest sports team ever assembled, beating their Olympic opponents by an average of 43.8 points a game, the Dream Team barreled over Croatia 117-85 to win the Gold Medal. Chicago Bull Michael Jordan would average 14.9 points per game while his 12 assists versus Germany and his 8 steals in games versus Angola and Croatia set Olympic single-game records. The team boasted 11 future individual Hall of Famers including Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Robinson, Scottie Pippen, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Christian Laettner, and Chris Mullin. The entire team was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.

Presented here is a retro limited-edition white USA Basketball jersey signed by Hall of Famer and Dream Team member Michael Jordan. The white mesh pullover jersey features red, white, and navy stripes on the lateral side of the jersey. “USA BASKETBALL” is displayed prominently on the chest of the jersey in red, navy, and white tackle twill. The number “9” appears on the chest of the jersey in red-on-blue tackle twill. A screen-printed Nike “Swoosh” logo is located on the right shoulder of the jersey. “CD” appears screen-printed in gold on the jersey’s left sleeve. A Nike “Swoosh DRI-FIT” size “XL” manufacturing tag is affixed to the inside of the blue-trimmed collar and features a Nike retail tag attached. A Team Nike size “XL” manufacturing tag is located on the jersey’s left front tail. “JORDAN” appears across the back of the jersey in red tackle twill. Jordan signed and inscribed “2009 HOF” on the number “9” on the front of the jersey with a black marker. “6/109” appears in black marker on the number “9” on the front of the jersey and was written by an unknown hand to mark the limited-edition. The signature and inscription are bold and feature no bleeding. The jersey is bright white and features no stains or markings. The signed, number 6 out of 109 limited-edition USA Basketball jersey comes with a COA from Upper Deck Authenticated (BAM16435).
