Clad in black trunks and no socks, Mike “Iron Mike” Tyson struck fear in the hearts of his opponents whenever the ferocious and intimidating boxer stepped into the ring. Tyson won his first 19 professional boxing matches by knockout, with 12 of those knockouts coming in the first round. After defeating Trevor Berbick for the WBC Title in 1986, Tyson went on to demolish James Smith and Tony Tucker for the WBA and IBF titles in 1987 to become the first heavyweight boxer to hold all three titles simultaneously. After obliterating Michael Spinks in 91 seconds during their June 27, 1988 fight, Tyson became the lineal heavyweight champion. Tyson held the belts for three years and was thought to be unbeatable until underdog Buster Douglas defeated Tyson in 1990. Tyson retired from boxing in 2006 and was inducted into the International Boxing and World Boxing Hall of Fame.

Presented here are a pair of black boxing trunks and a left-handed boxing glove signed by the most feared pugilist in boxing history, Mike Tyson. The black polyester trunks feature “TYSON” across the outer waistband in white tackle twill. A “100% POLYESTER MADE IN THE PHILLIPINES” tag with a size “L” flag are located on the inside waistband of the boxing trunks. “HOF” appears at the bottom of the right trunks in white tackle twill. “2010” appears at the bottom of the left leg of the trunks. Tyson signed the left side of the trunks with a silver metallic paint pen. The trunks are in great condition and the signature is bold. The signed boxing trunks come with a COA from JSA (W396524).

The second item in this presented lot is a red Everlast left-handed glove signed by Tyson. “EVERLAST” written in black on a silver patch of fabric appears on the outer wrist of the glove. The inside of the glove features black laces. Tyson signed the outside of the glove with a silver metallic paint pen. The signature is bold and the glove is a pristine vibrant red. The signed left-handed boxing glove comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (5A46154).
