Tight end Rob Gronkowski played nine seasons with the New England Patriots where the famed tight end won three Super Bowl titles while earning five Pro Bowl selections and was the first tight end in NFL history to lead the league in receiving touchdowns, catching 17 of them in 2011. Gronkowski had 69 receptions for 1,084 yards and caught eight touchdowns during the 2017 season. The Patriots went 13-3 during the regular season and won the AFC Championship en route to losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 44-31. Gronkowski had 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns during the loss, and his 23 combined receptions and 297 combined receiving yards are the most by a tight end in Super Bowl history.
