World renowned traveler, multi-millionaire and future baseball Hall of Famer Ty Cobb, was short on cash, and so on "Dec. 17, 1931" Cobb cashed this check for "$25.00" at the William Taylor Hotel in San Francisco. Cobb filled out the entire check in his own hand, boldly signing his full name "Tyrus R. Cobb" on the front and the verso. Both signatures are unaffected by any cancellations. This item has been authenticated, graded and encapsulated at the highest mark, PSA/DNA GEM MINT 10. A tremendous double-signed Ty Cobb item.
