The Beatles are the most influential band of all time, with their timeless records and singles still enjoyed by millions in the 21st century. Highly influential in the counterculture movement of the 1960s, the Beatles constant experimentation with their sound incorporated elements from a diverse range of musical styles to create a unique and timeless sound that saw the band pioneer recording studio techniques with ear-bending success. The band was so popular during the heyday of “Beatlemania” that the band launched numerous products, intent on capitalizing on their growing fame. The Beatles appeared on everything from lunchboxes to toys, and this presented item is a battery-operated tin Ford Galaxie toy featuring the Beatles in the original box. This particular item was released to Spanish-speaking markets, with the original 21 3/8 x 14-inch box labeled “Todos de fiesta con los ye yes” which translates to “All Party With The Ye Yes” with “Los Ye Yes” appearing on the hood of the psychedelic car in red surrounded by red-petaled flowers. The lime-green car features all four Beatles seated on the inside of the convertible that is adorned with psychedelic imagery and various words in Spanish.  The car features elements of play and the box is shows signs of deterioration.
