Pippen came into his own during the 1990-91 season and Jordan had already emerged as the best player in the NBA when this presented cover of the “1991-92 NBA Preview” issue of Sports Illustrated hit stands on November 11, 1991 that featured coach Phil Jackson holding both Pippen and Jordan in his arms. The presented item is an 8 x10 ½ -inch cover of Sports Illustrated that features Jackson, Pippen, and Jordan on the cover and is signed by all three legendary Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers. “Sports Illustrated” and “Nov.11, 1991” appear on the top of the magazine cover in white lettering. “1991-92 NBA PREVIEW ISSUE” is located on the left side of the cover. The bottom of the cover is labeled “Man in the Middle” in yellow below an image of Jackson holding Pippen and Jordan, the two players he would lead to two-separate three-peat NBA titles during the 90s.
