Mike “The Millville Meteor” Trout wore these presented Nike size 11 ½ cleats during the 2018 season that saw the consensus best baseball player of his generation earn the seventh All-Star selection of his career while also earning the seventh Silver Slugger Award of his career. The 2012 American League Rookie of the Year continued his ascendancy to baseball greatness during the 2018 season where Trout posted a .312 batting average with 147 hits, 39 home runs, and 79 RBI. The cleats feature a blue, white, and red colorway with the iconic Nike “swoosh” appearing on the outstep of each cleat in white. “NIKE” appears in red on the instep of each cleat. The cleats feature a red plastic toe box and blue plastic heel guards. “TROUT” appears stylized on the white tongue of each cleat in red. “ENGINEERED TO THE EXACT SPECIFICATIONS OF” in red appears on the inside tongue of each cleat with Trout’s facsimile signature. White heel tags featuring the Nike “Swoosh” in red are labeled “DON’T GET BIG” on the right cleat in red, and “STAY SMALL” on the left cleat, a homage to Trout’s saying about his swing. Nine metal cleats are attached to a hard, multi-colored plastic soles imprinted with a white Nike “swoosh” symbol. The cleats display excellent evidence of game use and feature dirt attached to the cleats, dirt and markings on the heels and toecaps. Trout signed and inscribed “G/U 18” with a black marker on the red plastic toe box of the right cleat. These cleates come with a LOA from Anderson Authentics, with the right cleat hologram number being (3742) and the left cleat hologram number (3741). Trout signed and inscribed “18 G/U” on the red plastic toe box of the left cleat with a black marker.
