Graded NM-MT 8 by BGS. Rookie Card. Hall of Famer. This 1983-84 Star card features Isiah Thomas against a simplistic, yet eye-catching, white background. The light blue surrounding his picture also brilliantly “frames” the card. Thomas revolutionized basketball for “small men,” innovating and creating unique opportunities, wherever he went. This fearsome player would eventually take the Detroit Pistons from last place to back-to-back NBA championships, during the late 1980s. During his 13-year career, Thomas earned 12 NBA All-Star appearances, two NBA Championships, and an NBA Finals MVP. The card’s BGS condition report: Centering: 7.5, Corners: 9.5, Edges: 9, Surface: 8.5. Near Mint to Mint condition.
