The Bambino penned his distinctive “Babe Ruth” signature across the sweet spot of this “Official Major League” ball made by Wilson in bold black fountain pen. Ruth’s signature is bold and nicely centered on the sweet spot of this cream-colored orb. The stampings on this ball include “BALANCED WINDING” and “ANCHORED WINDING” arrows on the side panel east of the stamped sweet spot and “RUBBER COVERED CORK CENTER W182” on the panel south. This ball displays beautifully and would be a welcomed addition to any serious collector’s collection and also includes the original Wilson box with an open top. This item comes with a LOA PSA/DNA (AE05739) who have graded Ruth’s signature a NM-7 and an overall grade of NM-MT 7.5.
