Offered is an approximately 4.5 x 6 inch album page with a very nice "Walter Johnson" pencil signature. The signature grades a solid "7" but is written in the midst of a large brown water stain. At the very bottom of the page (written in an unknown hand) is "Sept. 9-1933. Manager of Clev. Am. League BB, Formerly Pitcher of Washington"; Johnson became Manager mid way through the 1933 season, one year after managing Washington. On that date, Johnson's Indians squad lost 5-3 to Connie Mack's Philadelphia A's. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication, cert number X51252.
