One of the most desirable collectibles in this great hobby is the 1950s-early 1960s Hartland Statues. These statues were meticulously manufactured, and include many of the greatest players of that time period. One of these players is Ted Williams, who is captured in the follow through of his tremendously powerful swing. The lightly yellowed statue has very light marking, with the number “9” on the back and his stockings faded over time. However, the toe plate is intact and the statue is superbly balanced. The original tag grades EX-MT, with the original string still neatly through the loop. The scarce box is “complete” but two portions of the top have separated, with the front of the box containing a bold, black Sharpie “Ted Williams” signature. A very scarce ensemble, this complete and original package provides a nice display for the Williams fan.
