Opening Day Auction 2014

As one of the most complete offensive players in the game, Joey Votto hits for average, draws his share of walks and hits for power. This 34 inch, 32 ounce Louisville Slugger block letter M356 model bat has his name “JOEY VOTTO” and team “CINCINNATI REDS” engraved on the barrel. The handle has a large 12 inch crack, and is lightly covered with Mota stick. The knob features the date of manufacture (1/18/2011), the length (34.0) and weight (32.0) plus Votto’s number “19” and bat model number “M356” written in silver marker, while these same marking are in silver marker on the bat head. There are a few ball marks and stitch impressions. The bat contains an MLB Authentication hologram, number FJ051299, indicating this bat was used by Votto on April 5, 2011, when he grounded out to second base and broke the bat against Brandon Lyon of the Houston Astros. Great gamer from one of MLBs best hitters.
