Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant wore these Adidas KB8 shoes during the 1998 playoffs. The 1997-98 season was Kobe’s second year in the Association and Bryant, still only 19, played in 79 games his sophomore season, making the first of his 18 All-Star appearances. The first-round draft pick out of Lower Merion High School averaged 15.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 26 minutes per game, helping to lead the Lakers to a 61-21 record and a spot in the Western Conference Finals as their sixth man.

These shoes are white with white and purple accents and the Adidas logo sewn on the tongue. A purple and gold Adidas logo is sewn on the back of the heel, and a white Adidas logo is sewn on the outside of the heels. The shoes are a size 14, with Adidas logos located on the top of each tongue with Bryant’s number “8” embroidered in purple and gold at the base of the tongue. Bryant has signed the left shoe on the outside ankle in silver marker. These sneakers come with LOAs from MEARS (317851) for the game use and Beckett Authentication for the signature.
