Offered is an approximate 22 x 32 inch print area of the famed LeRoy Neiman serigraph of the potent Mike Schmidt baseball swing. Titled The Slugger, this was issued in 1990 (a year after Schmidt’s tearful retirement), is serigraph numbered "163/300," and signed in pencil in the lower left corner by Mike Schmidt and LeRoy Neiman in the lower right (both grading "10"). This original artwork was limited in number to 356 total impressions (300 numbered impressions, 50 artist's proofs, and 6 printer's proofs), and is widely recognized as the premier Schmidt signed display piece. This print has “163/300” in the lower left corner, along with the perfect “Mike Schmidt” pencil signature. Three small areas of paper loss along the top border, when this item was once framed and displayed. This does not affect the beauty of this piece, and will mat out when fully displayed once again.
