Detroit Tigers legend Ty Cobb on the right, his likewise-enshrined field leader Hugh Jennings at the left and famed baseball photographer Charles Conlon's immortal interpretation of the Peach's famous, ferocious slide at center. The foregoing recitation of details summarizes this cherished tableau vivant, but only the sight of it can replicate the manner in which the presentation has captured sheer, evocative history. This paper antique reveals mild, natural wear at the periphery, but a vertical crease at center suggests that some turn-of-the-century dunce created an additional fold in the effort to make this majestic and uniquely premium-sized piece conform to his stack of smaller inserts. This is unfortunate, but not critical: the card's essence and its magic remain uninhibited. Good condition.
