Encapsulated and assessed "Authentic" by SGC. Hall of Famer. Eddie Plank earned 326 victories during his big-league career. He posted more shutouts and completed more games than any other southpaw in Major League history. Pitching for the Philadelphia A's in the first 14 seasons of the American League's existence (1901-1914), Plank helped lead his team to six pennants and three World Championships. Plank's immediately recognizable likeness is nicely maintained on this scarce collectible, which displays a disturbance in the top-edge, brand name heading and an opaque blemish on the cardback's left-side margin.
