Pablo Sandoval had his best overall year in 2009 with career highs in hits, doubles, home runs, runs batted in and batting average. This un-cracked 34 inch, 33.5 ounce Marucci Pablo Sandoval block letter CB15-M model bat was used by Sandoval during the 2009 season. It shows tremendous evidence of game use with numerous stitch impressions and ball marks, with blue ink transfers and white leather scuff marks. Also visible is a heavy amount of Mota stick, and an eight-inch spiral tape application. On the knob is stamped the date of manufacture “1/14/09”, his number “48”, the length “4” and weight “2.0”, and his number (6) is written in silver marker on the top barrel. The sweet spot contains a bold, silver Sharpie “Pablo Sandoval Game Used 2009” signature. All the above characteristics are represented by the player and factory records indicate this bat was ordered by the player during the referenced labeling period. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, graded GU 10, cert number 1B00210 for the bat and Tri-Star Productions hologram (#7034704) is affixed to the front barrel.
